Boy Scouts of America

Boy Scouts of America EmblemGoddard has an active Boy Scout program consisting of two Cub Scout Packs for boys in grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and one Boy Scout Troop for boys who have completed the fifth grade through 18 years of age.  Both packs and troop are chartered by the Goddard Lions Club through the Quivira Council of Boy Scouts of America.  To find out more about scouting and to enroll visit the sites below or contact your sons school.

Pack Meetings are generally held the last Monday of each month during the school year at 7:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 12885 W. Maple, Wichita, KS

Goddard Junior Baseball & Softball League
Goddard Junior Baseball & Softball League

Goddard Junior Baseball and Softball is a recreational league for players ages 5 to 15. The sign-up period is from mid February to mid March.  The games are played between the third week of May and the third week of July.


Goddard Junior Football

Goddard Junior Football is associated with the Mid-State Football League and is for players in grades 3 through 6 and ages 8 through 12 who live in the Goddard School District USD 265.  It is staffed by volunteers who share a commitment to providing an opportunity for children to have fun while learning the fundamentals of the sport. 


Goddard Wrestling Club

Goddard WrestlingCome join a sport where EVERYONE participates, no tryouts and nobody sits on the bench.

In our club we teach great Basic and Advanced wrestling skills. We also teach good sportsmanship, self-discipline, setting and achieving goals, teamwork and respect.


Lions Club

Lions International LogoThe Goddard Lions Club has had a very positive relationship with the community of Goddard and the surrounding area through it's many service and humanitarian projects

Meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at Gerrard's Restaurant, 20201 W. US 54 Hwy.

Goddard Keen Klub

Goddard Keen Klub is an organization of seniors 55 & older.  Keen Klub meets at the Community Center, 122 N. Main from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of every month except July, August, November and December when only one meeting is held on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  Members enjoy playing cards and games until noon when a pot luck dinner is served with a program following at 1:00 pm.  The Klub also sponsors an exercise class on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 9:00 am and card playing on the 1st & 4th Tuesdays from 9:30 am till noon.  Both of these activities are also held at the Community Center.


The Clothes Closet

COME SEE US.  We're located in the basement of the Regency Community Center, 16171 W. Hwy 54.  Our hours are Monday and Wednesdays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Everything is free.

Holy Spirit Catholic School

opened August 16, 2002 with two teachers and seventeen students in grades kindergarten, one, and two with an additional grade being added annually. Families involved with the school are required to practice the stewardship way of life by giving of their time, talent, and treasure. Students likewise practice stewardship by making placemats for quarterly welcome dinners for new parishioners and by making wooden toys for both the Altar Society’s raffle and the school’s auction.
