Goddard Junior Football Fast Facts and Information...

  • Who Can Play or Cheer: Students entering Grades 3 thru 6 @ Goddard USD 265

  • Football Teams: (1 or more each) 3rd, 4th,  5th & 6th Grades

  • Cheer Squads: (1) squad for each football grade level (3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th)

  • Who will Squads cheer for? They will cheer for their own grade level team.

  • Cheer Uniform: Each athlete will have a cheerleading uniform.

  • Open Signups: Each Individual that signs-up will play & have a place on a team

  • Deadline for Signup: May 9, 2009 / NO EXCEPTIONS  

  • Competitive Football: Full Contact Tackle / Physicals are required prior to first practice / Sports Physicals will be available for $20 the day of sign-up   

  • Cheer Physical: A Physician signed Copy of a Physical Examination Required

  • Identification Requirements: Copy of Birth Certificate is required prior to first practice

  • Travel: These Teams will travel to other local area towns (5 or more games)

  • Transportation: All Individuals must provide own transportation

  • Home Games: Held in Goddard (1 or more games)

Mid-State Football League

Goddard Junior Football is associated with the Mid-State Football League and is for players in grades 3 through 6 and ages 8 through 12 who live in the Goddard School District USD 265. It is staffed by volunteers who share a commitment to providing an opportunity for children to have fun while learning the fundamentals of the sport.

Time: from 5:00pm to 5:30pm

Location: at the storage units on Kellogg.

Player Equipment:

When: Tuesday, November 10th & Tuesday, November 17th

Time: from 5:00pm to 5:45pm

Location: Clark Davidson Elementary Parking lot 333 S. Walnut
