Annual Cost

Cost Policy - what are annual Pack fees, and how are they used?

This year, a total of $30 is collected from each scout, $42 if a subscription to Boys Life is desired.  The scout year is from February to January. 

  • $10 of the annual fees are for National Cub Scouting.
  • $20 is a fee charged by the Pack to offset the cost of awards.
  • $12 of the fees are optional and pay for an annual subscription to Boys Life magazine.
     

The awards policy of Pack 775 is that all awards are the paid responsibility of the families of the pack.  Equal payment will be shared by all registered Cub Scouts for the re-charter year. 

These fees will be used to pay:

  • Cub Scout rank advancement…includes Tigercub pocket totems and beads
  • Webelos activity pins
  • Wolf and Bear arrow points
  • Sport and Academic belt loops and activity pins with Cub Scout letter
  • Attendance pins
  • Special den, den leader, and parent recognition (normally ribbons)
  • Special program involvement including Summer time and Pinewood Derby awards

As Tigercubs are registered normally in August or September, the pack will waive these fees for the current year and will collect on the upcoming full Cub Scouting year (February to January).
