PINEWOOD DERBY
This is usually an annual event. Plans are to run it again on February 9, 2008 (1:00pm-4:00pm). Check-in/Impound will also be on February 9, 2008 (noon).
For history sake, we wanted to document here that for several years, our pack used a track owned by Pack 776. Late in 2006 our pack bought a new aluminum track. Because of the close relationship between our packs, our intent is that Pack 776 is free to use our track for their races each year.

It takes planning, preparation, and a bunch of helpful people to run a good Derby. The few hours you put toward attending the derby is multiplied many, many, times over for the people organizing and running the event. Make sure you recognize that commitment, and give them your thanks over, and over again. If you are not happy with the way the PWD is run, my suggestion to you would be, dedicate your time and effort to making it better.
February 9 - Official Weigh In. See the rules for how heavy they can be. Weigh in is at Ascension Lutheran.
