Here's a 2006-2007 training calendar for Quivira Council and White Buffalo District.  Also, see the Guide to Safe Scouting before you try something new.

Pathway to a Trained Leader
Youth Protection	For All Leaders - take this training on-line at quivira.org.
Fast Start	For Cub Scout Leaders - take this training on-line: Cub Scout Fast Start Training
New Leader Essentials	For All Leaders - One and one half hour session which will be made available periodically as a breakout session at Roundtable, or sessions can be scheduled through training coordinators.
Position Specific Training	For Cub Scout Leaders.
Supplemental Training	White Buffalo Roundtable - is held the first Thursday of each month and gives program ideas and information. University of Scouting - Held in November and provides a variety of topics for all Scout Leaders. Wood Badge - BSA encourages all Scouting Leaders within two years of joining Scouting to take this advanced training. It is held every year and provides leadership training for Scout leaders on all levels. Philmont Training Center - Provides a number of advanced training sessions for all Scouting Leaders at all levels.
